Adaptive Riding

The Bits & Pieces adaptive riding program provides benefits for individuals with developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges. In weekly sessions led by PATH International–certified therapeutic riding instructors, riders build new skills and strengths, gain confidence, and develop greater independence—empowering each participant to lead a more active and fulfilling life.

Horses for Heroes

Horses for Heroes offers veterans and first responders a welcoming space to heal, reconnect, and grow through the powerful bond between horse and rider. Thanks to the generous underwriting of a dedicated sponsor, this program is provided free of charge to all participants. Sessions focus on building strength, improving balance, overcoming fear, and fostering emotional well-being. Whether it’s gaining confidence in the saddle or finding calm in the quiet rhythm of the barn, Horses for Heroes honors those who serve by supporting their physical, mental, and emotional health.

Ground to Saddle

Ground to Saddle introduces participants to the foundational aspects of horsemanship. Participants learn hands-on skills such as grooming, feeding, basic horse care, anatomy, safe handling, and groundwork techniques. Sessions teach beginner skills that build trust and communication between horse and participant. By mastering these fundamentals, students gain confidence and deepen their understanding of the horse/human relationship.
